Bound in publisher's patterned dark green paper over boards, silver lettering and ornamentation to spine and front board. Glossy color photographic dust jacket. Plain white endpapers. Condition notes: a very good condition copy of a handsome volume in an unclipped, mylar-sheated dustjacket. Excellent color retention to boards; binding square and sound, corners sharp. Light wear to dustjacket. Interior unmarked, marred only by two slight tears - to front pastedown, where a bit of paper adhered to the facing ffep and pulled away: minor but noticeable. The second flaw is a small printer's imperfection to page [9], to head, resulting in a small tear. Else excellent. Page and section headings handsomely set off in red font. This collection of epistles of guidance to the abbess and sisters of the monastery was originally issued in the U.S. through the St. Herman of Alaska Press in Platina, CA.
